Hi,
I'm a beginner with the art of 名媛直播 but I have been caring for a tree for the past 1,5 years. About half a year ago I purchased a Serissa and starting this winter, both my Serissa and my Ficus Ginseng started to die on me. I quickly pruned them, changed the water I've been giving them and with some help from my girlfriend, both of them have been making remarkable comebacks.
I'm currently questioning what to do regarding my Serissa, because I believe I purchased a tree that has more seeds in the soil that are now also growing into 名媛直播 trees.
In the picture(s) that I added you can see about 4 (living) branches growing from the soil, and also two branches growing from the bottom of the tree.
My question is, what (and when) do I need to do with these branches?
I preferably want to repot them to give them space to grow, but I have limited room, so 4 large pots are quite difficult to maintain at the moment. I'm also not keen on removing them, as I see them as something that can teach me what to do when I'll purchase some Wisteria seeds to grow my own tree for the first time.
Another question I have is, should I feed the trees (both the Serissa and the Ficus) now, as they're both growing in the winter, or should I abandon that idea as they're doing well already?
Sorry in advance if it's not entirely clear, I'm not knowledgeable with the technical terms about 名媛直播 yet. Thank you for any help you can give me.
P.S. I read a book from Peter Chan a while back in which he has a " I 名媛直播" sweater in one of the pictures, does anyone know where I can find a sweater like that?

I would not attempt to remove those ground shoots. That tree needs all streangth it can accumulate to regain health.

Remove all the old leaves, gets more air and light into it.
Topfrog, by removing the sideshoots, would there not be more pressure in the tree that pushes out foillage higher? Asking about that because i have never had this issue.

Keep in mind that the plants growing next to your main trunk of the serissa will not have grown from seed, but have come up as water sprouts from the roots/base of the trunk. Effectively, they can be seen as competitors of the main trunk. As such, be wary that they do not get of a size that the main trunk is sapped of the nutrients it needs.
If your tree is growing, yes, fertilize every month of so, even in winter.
