Hi all, I believe I have a ficus microcarpa ginseng.
I have has this for 2 years and seems to have been growing nicely, plenty of leaves and looks overall healthy.
Recently it’s started to completely loose it’s leaves in whole areas but nothing I’ve done has changed.
Can anyone help or recommend something?

TIA ben

Did you get a cold spell outside recently that caused you heating system work hard and dry up the air?

hello,
for me, there is a lack of light, the branches that have lost their leaves, are facing the wall, it will have to be turned regularly, repotting may be needed, give it some fertilizer!!

I would also expect lack of light. But also a coldspel outside, leading to additional heater use, can affect it

Hi, thanks for the reply! Yes it’s recently become very cold outside, could it be the air being too warm and dry?

Yes it could be, do you have a spot in the house what is unheated around 15 to 17celcius, with as much light possible.
In spring/summer when temps outside don't drop under 15c at day/night. Then it can regrow strong and healthy again, before the next winter arrives.
