Hi!
Somebody left behind what looks like a dead/dying bonsai tree, I have watered and fertilised it, but I'm not sure if its alive.
Can anyone identify it, could it be a deciduous species?

I think it may be on the edge of death...
Where i scraped the trunk low down it was definitely green, but higher up (thin continuation of trunk) I didn't see any green. Pictures attached
Would you suggest doing anything else? Even cutting it right back?

Apologies but the translation is not very clear - Are you saying that if I water it very well in a set up like that with the plastic covering, the areas that become wet are alive?

It was a Ficus it is no more and has not been alive for a long time.

sur la photo n° 2 ,on y voie du vert ,c'est qu'il y a encore une parti vivente ,en le placent sous plastique et fermé hermétiquement ,cela va créer une atmosphère tropicale et en principe ,favorisé de nouvelles pousses ,sur tous pas d'engrais
