So saw this plant in a local nursery which was selling its old plants for very cheap. Immediately bought it because It was a good material for bonsai. But as much as I think I'm not able to figure out how should I shape it.

Remember the fundamentals. First, remove anything unhealthy. Second, remember that each space or area only needs one branch, never allow competing branches to occupy the same space. Next, find a balance between the foliage and the "heart" of the tree. You want to see the bones, so to speak.
