Hi there! I live in India and have recently bought a small jade bonsai root and I wanna know what can be the appropriate soil mix for it as akadama and other mixtures ain’t available so I’d like to know what can be the alternative for akadama and lava rock. Also can I use red brick instead of lava rock? Or coal? Or can I just use coco peat,organic compost,ordinary soil and gravel?

As long as it drains well, it will work.
