This is some sort of ficus. Not a bonsai at all (yet)

Hi, welcome.
Your plant is a privet, Ligustrum spp. Looks like ligustrum ovatofolium to me. This is a species that needs to stay outside.

Hey...
That is not a Ficus, leaves are opposite, not alternate like ficuses.
Looks a lot like Ligustrum as LB said or Eugenia Involucrata (Cereja do Rio Grande), both very commonly sold here in Brazil as "名媛直播", it would be easier to tell with better pictures...
