HI there, at the end of last year I grew 2 Japanese Black Pines and 2 Judas Trees from seed. During spring 21, I gradually introduced them outdoors and that's where they've been since around May. They are in 9cm pots. They are all doing well and one of the Judas Trees is very big. I know I can't do anything in terms of 名媛直播 for a couple of years but I need to know if I need to bring these inside for the British Winter or should I just keep them outside?
Many thanks
Paul

they should remain outside. Protect from sun and wind when frozen.

The UK is a pretty big place. John o Groats? Windsor? In the northern colder areas you might need to do so protection against harsh winds and extreme cold, but in the southern areas probably not.
Whatever local climate requires, don't bring them into a space climate controlled for humans. They aren't human.

My black pines has been outside since sown 5 years ago. And my climate is more harsh than northern uk. Last winter below -10 for 6 weeks and lowest -16. I am sure the pines will do good without any protection. No experience with judas tree.

Sorry, I live in South Wales, north west of Cardiff so wet but mild until the middle of December then very cold in Jan/Feb, much like the rest of the UK.
Cheers

Does that apply to the Judas tree also? They look more fragile than the JBP. I was thinking of moving them into the shed during the coldest months of Jan and Feb but I'll keep them outdoors if that's whats best for them?
Thanks

We have Judas trees wild around here but I have never gotten one to live through the winter. I would think they need some protection against frost.
