So I got a bonsai pine tree seed set for my birthday.
The only instructions is to place in a wet tissue and into a cold area for 2-5 weeks and then pot it.
I have no clue what im really doing, I have read the info on the site but not sure how to start.
I have always been interested in bonsai trees though and really want to try growing from a seed.
I'm in the south east of England

You did not get bonsai seeds, but overprized normal tree seeds. Just put them in a pot and place outdoors. Nature now how to stratify seeds.

I know they're not bonsai seeds and they weren't expensive in the slightest.
I just wasn't sure if I should just plant them straight away or if I do need to put them in a cold area first as its not cold here at all yet.

Recomended cold stratification for pine seeds is below 5 degrees for at least 3 months. If you dont get that outdoors then you might want to concider putting the seeds in the refrigerator during winter.

Yeah we don't go below 5 here that often, so I will place the seeds in the fridge first, then pot and place outside
