Help with my Sageretia Theezan/Sweet Plum was created by Caedorhan

I have an indoor bonsai that I've been having issues with on and off for the past few months. This issue first surfaced a couple months back and seemed to have eventually went away after a lot of trial and error. At the time I had tried multiple treatment strategies (neem oil, copper fungicide, light reduction, light increase, less water, more water, isolating away from other plants, fertilizer).

It appears the issue resurfaced and I'm not entirely sure what it is or how to treat it. The bonsai has stopped a lot of its growth and the leaves are beginning to become lighter/pale in color. There's also noticeable brown spots on many of the leaves. Initially I thought the spots were fungus or maybe parasites.

Any advice at all would be hugely appreciated!

I have had the same problem with my sweet plum. What i would say, is that it the problem is either its dormancy is coming up, or its re-acclimatizing.
Dont be scared if in winter there will be less leaves. If its because dormancy then im pretty sure you will see buds in the winter.
Hope your tree will get better soon! :)

Do not worry. It is not true.
Tropicals kept indoors will go dormant. Due to low light levels they often just sit around for weeks to months on end. All of the sudden they spring to live and start growing again.

Lack of light is not dormancy.
