Hi folks,
I've had a Chinese Elm for a few years now. I re-potted last year on advice I got here, and it's been doing well. It's outside. I water it when required, and fertilise at the same time.
Last week it developed some brown spots on its leaves and has started to drop a few. It looks like liquid or something has been spilled on the leaves, but that's not possible.
I've attached a pic. Any idea what's happening here please?
Thank you for your help!
Matt

Hello Matt.
There's a few thing I observed...
One, did you meant that you fertilise everytime you water it? If so, that's wrong, and can burn it's leafs or even kill it...
Two, I think you are getting into autumn soon right? (Northern Hemisphere) Elm is Deciduous... In that case, could be normal.
Three, is it kept inside?
