Hi, I bought a small bonsai in Florida. It was hauled back and was stuck in a hot truck for hours in traffic. I live in Michigan. I do have it outside. I just can't seem to be getting the leave back to green. I have fertilized it. I only water when it really dry?

Looks like it was overheated and dried out.
I've had plants ordered and delivered to my address, instead of driving hours in a hot car. Plant orders are usually packaged in a way to preserve their state. You could try ordering a plant in the future if you don't want to risk having it inside a truck for hours.
