My bonsai dropped most of its leaves a flew weeks ago, I wasn't too concerned as i could already see new growth coming through. She has flourished with new growth in the bottom half of the trunk but half way up it just stops. The top half is completely bare. I have also noticed a few clusters of white spots on the top half of the tree. Considered cutting the top off bit this seems very extreme! Any advice welcome this giant bonsai was a gift I've managed to do pretty well with her for 3 years now but very much a beginner in the bonsai world!
