Hi everyone!
Just picked up this juniper from a local nursery. Just wondering if anyone knows what's the specific name for this type of juniper?

What did the nursery tell you when you asked the ones growing it?

It was a busy day at the nursery, didn’t get a chance to ask for more info, only thing was a basic card info, saying that it was a juniperus spp. Trying to search online for more info about it.

No reason to ask the nurcery. You allready know more than them. Common name is juniper, not pine.

The Hanzi in the label, as far as I can tell in Mandarin, corresponds to "fog water fir" (wù shuǐ sōng) which, amazingly, has a dictionary entry of Glyptostrobus pensilis. This is all news to me.
