Is this slight browning on my juniper a problem? was created by DexMax

Hi,
I noticed that some of the tips on my juniper have a little bit of browning on them. There's also browning on the inside of the tree, but I've been told that is normal due to aging, so I'm just wondering about the browning on the outside. Please take a look!

The browning of the tips is something to keep an eye on. It could be nothing, but it could be fungal too.
Did you do any wiring over the last months?

I just received the tree about 3-4 weeks ago, so I have pretty much just been watering the tree, and moving it around on my deck to make sure it gets the most sun as possible.
There's also a small clump of moss on the base of the trunk, but would that be a problem?
