Hello everyone!
I have been growing this tree from seed. It is from a starter pack. I have planted it in the ground and it's been there for a few years, it's planted on top of a slab to help create a radial root system.
I am just wondering where to go and what to do next really? If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

That depends a bit on what your goal is with it. In bonsai the width of the trunk is roughly 1/6 th of the height of the tree ( depending on the style a bit, so don’t be too pinned on that 1/6th) . So, if your tree has a trunk of 2 cm, the height would be approx 12-15 cm to be “ideal”. If you want a large tree, let it grow a few more years, if you want a small one chop it down to the first branch and continue from there.

Not too much to do right now more than let it grow. If you whish you can dig it up in spring and comb out the roots, but it can also wait a few years.
When you think the tree gets to big for the spot you can cut the trunk right over a upward facing branch. If it gets to wide you can cut back branches as well. But any prunning will slow down trunk development which should be prio one at this point. If you want to wire the trunk to put some mowement to it, now is the time. But I would shoose cut and grow to get mowement.
First of all you need to decide what you want to develop from this tree. That dictates the best steps going forward.

Thank you the help everyone!
I'd like to go for something similar to this:
But you're right, i guess it's just a case of leaving it for the trunk to get thick. Thank you

The first thing to do is read the web information on growing techniques, fertilizing, design, and bonsai care in general.
