Because there is no such thing as an indoor tree. It needs to be outside in order to survive

Of course it did. The harm from being inside will not go away instantly by placing it outside. Chances are big that the plant is already dead. Leave it outside and hope. Do not fertilise/repot/fiffle with it

There is not one tree in the entire world that lives naturally indoors.
That being said, there are of course trees that live in climates that have no frost. These trees need to be kept outside until it starts freezing, and then be placed in a room/ garden shed/.. that remains frost free, or depending on the tree even stays at 5-10-15 degrees, but never in our heated, dry lightpoor living rooms.
99% of the " help my tree is dying" questions here are from socalled indoor trees that are dead or dying. I have yet to see one come back here to show how good their tree is doing inside...

Trees need sunlight. The green in leaves and needles is there to change sunlight to energy the plant needs, and if there isn't sunlight it stops making chlorophyll. Solution: pit it outside in the sun.
