Hey everyone,
Last year I got my Chinese lingustrum from a bonsai retailer. I looked really good until this spring when some leave tips started to turn brown.
At first I cut the leaves of but now more appeared.
Maybe someone has experienced something similar or has a solution for my problem. I don’t want chizuru to die

Put it outside now and any problems will likelly be solved. First in shade and then gradually into full sun over a couple of weeks. In winter try to keep it in as low temperature as possible above 5c and as much light as possible.

Those wrinkels in the leaves tells me that the tree is inregular watered. As new leaves unfold, and there is a water sortage it will stop growing, then when watered it grows again with a wrinkel in it. Also the leaves seem to suffer a bit of the dry air indoor.
Outdoor in when the weather allows it is the way to go to keep it healthy and beter growth.
If you going to have guests, put the tree inside on its trone to show it off. After guests are gone, put it back outside. For me it is ok to put the tree indoor in winter with a real grow light. As i do the same with two tree's. But not all people on this website agrees with growing indoor/ grow lights.

Wrinkled leaves are normal on the chinese ligustrum. That is how they grow.
The brown leaf ends are normally a sign of root issues, typically of too dry growing circumstances or too aggressive fertilization.
How do you water the tree?
A summer holiday outside will be good for the tree. Be carefull to not keep this species outside when it gets cold. If I recall correctly, -5c is their minimum temperature

I can verify that 5c is ok for this species. Kept mine in 5c with a few occational drops to 4 the whole winter.
