I am currently in the phase of taking cuttings from trees that I find interesting, with permission of course. I found this tree today that I thought looked like a Carolina Ash (Fraxinus caroliniana) but this tree has smaller leaves that accompany the larger ones whereas the Ash does not. This tree was cut from Central Florida near the Gulf of Mexico. Can anyone tell me what I am working with?
