Hello! I just ordered an Australian willow cutting, I heard that they grow fast, will I have to prune this cutting within the first year, and I can't seem to find a lot of information on container growing this species, can I keep it indoors. I live in zone 7 by the way. Thank you very much! :)

First, Willow need water. No you cannot keep it inside. You will have to let it grow for several years before doing anything much to it apart from watering. I would not be pruning at all for at least three years, then it can be cut back
