Hello! I just ordered an Australian willow cutting, I heard that they grow fast, will I have to prune this cutting within the first year, and I can't seem to find a lot of information on container growing this species, can I keep it indoors. I live in zone 7 by the way. Thank you very much!

First, Willow need water. No you cannot keep it inside. You will have to let it grow for several years before doing anything much to it apart from watering. I would not be pruning at all for at least three years, then it can be cut back
