Yes all of my bonsai trees are inside because the squirls will tear it up and we have spotted lantern flies around here and I also just wanted them to be indoor plants?
I would appreciate any help you can give me with these problems?

...you want them to be indoor plants...
Let me make a comparison: i have a dog but i want it to be a fish. Will he survive in an aquarium?
Trees need sunlight, they literally "eat" it. Without it they die, simple as that. And no, behind a window is not good enough.
Go through the help section and search for " help my tree is dying". 99% of these questions are from people with trees inside.
Your problems are a result from being inside. Solution: outside with it
Another thing: it will never ( well, not in your lifetime at least) become a trustworthy bonsai with a big old trunk in that little bonsai pot.

Lol i have to remember this comparison!
Rizzi, how do you supply dormancy indoor? Most species need a wintercold and to be leafless for a few months. If you keep them indoors, they won't experiance the seasons in the right manner.
