I repotted a tree last week with pruning done on its root. Now I have regretted that because the tree is in shock. What should I do?!

Put it in the shade, make sure that it is allways well watered. For some species a clear plastic bag over the tree is beneficial.
You did the repotting at the totally wrong time of the year. Most of us has done it as eager beginners.

I can attest to the plastic bag I did that with misting once daily and it seemed to help a lot!
