Hey all!

You probably get this message a thousand times and I completely understand if this tree is SOL. I would put most of the blame on myself for just being novice and not realizing errors before they happened.

Link for video:

I have been caring for a Juniper 名媛直播 (Juniperus Communis) since April 24th. Purchased it from (What I believe, to be a reputable third party seller) a garden center potted and ready to go. Over first inspection it looked fine (of course I understand the risks in buying from large garden centers and that Junipers can go weeks before showing signs of stress) The only major concern was that it was in organic soil which I knew needed to be changed at some point.
I read that Junipers under all circumstances should be kept outside, and to not bring them in unless utterly necessary. So I did my best to put it outside and leave it there. During The first week not only was there a ton of rain forecasted through my area but the temps also were getting to below -5C most of the nights so at night I would bring the plant inside (at a NE facing window) and in the morning (around 6:30am) I would move it back outside. for about 5 days straight it just rained.
During that time I kept an eye on it and noticed that at the tip of the tree (leading branch?) started to discolor slightly. I figured it was because the Organic soil was holding to much water and that perhaps some of the roots and started to rot. So I invested in Inorganic soil (Pummus, Red/Black Lava and Akadama) and on the Second of May I repotted the tree with equal parts Akadama/Pummus/Red Lava. I kept about 1/3 of the original soil and inspected the roots to see if there where any dead ones and couldnt seem to see any. Stupidly I watered and fertilized the tree on the same day this occurred. (reading online after how an already stressed tree most likely wouldn't utilize the fertilizer anyways) So i halted fertilizing it on my planned once a week because I figured it was extremely stressed.
So I watched more videos, mainly Jason Schley who is based in Florida, who cares predominantly for Junipers. And in one of his videos he pulled out a tree that had had the same issues mine was having and he mentioned that he was keeping it in partial shade and misting it 2-3 times a day. So that is what I did. It seemed to do slightly better but I can't tell. I am just not experienced enough.
On the 19th of May I purchased 20-20-20 general purpose slow release fertilizer and added it to my tree that evening (taking notes from Herons 名媛直播 on how to apply solid fertilizer over soil) But i have slowly started to see more branches turning and dying so I am not optimistic that this tree will live. During some of this time I did take daily photos of the tree, but decided to exclude them from this post because my Iphone just made the image look very...shite...for lack of a better word. If you would like to see some of those photos, I'm more than happy to add them.

If anyone has any insight on what I can do right to attempt to save this tree that would be absolutely greatly appreciated. If it is SOL, and I am just watering dead branches, I completely understand that as well.

It seems to have some problem, yes, but I also seem to see new growth in several places (the fluorescent green stuff), if the video doesn’t trick me.
That being said, leave the poor thing alone and let it recover. Do not fertilize, place it where it can have a good amount of light (best would be full sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon.
But stop fiddling with it and moving it around. Just water it whenever it’s dry-ish and nothing more.

That is an interesting video. I see both growth and problems.
