Help me! was created by nkaur16

Hi all, I would appreciate any advice because I am a beginner. I have had my bonsai for 3 years, it has thrived happily. The past 2 months it is visibly sad & dying, the leaves have wilted away to a pale yellow.

Terrified me repotted it today (even though it's out of season) because I did not know what to do. Now I'm afraid the stress will make it even sicker. Please, what can I do to help it?

Hello and welcome
You say you had it for 3 years. Have you had it inside for that long, because that would be an absolute record.
A junipers dies inside, it’s as simple as that. They turn brown long after they experience problems. Repotting it didn’t help either, never repot an already sick tree. I hope you didn’t clean/ rinse the roots because that would certainly kill it. Probably too late for this one, but place it outside in a sunny spot, water it thoroughly with a garden hose untill water spills from the drainage hole and hope.

Hi! Thank you for your insight, I actually keep it outside all day and bring it back in at night.

Ah, I’m hoping for a miracle. I didn’t disturb the roots , it was more about changing the soil but I do fear that alone is stressful enough for the tree.

...why on earth would you do that? Wel, it's the probably the reason you kept it alive for so long ànd the reason it's dead/dying...
If it survives, keep it outside, and never bring it back inside ( your heated/dry living rooms) anymore!!

Ah okay I understand, there’s not much room in New York and people steal things outside. But I now understand how the temperature / climate is stressful
