I purchased a Pseudolarix a couple of days ago from a supermarket. It's my first bonsai and want to cultivate it for years but I'm just getting started. I've discovered what looks like grey mould at the base of my tree spreading over the immediate topsoil. How damaging is this and how do I treat it? Pic attached for clarification. TIA!
PS: Any further tips and advice for a complete beginner are more than welcomed!
