Yellow tips at the end of branches CAN mean new growth.
The pictures you show.. How well do they reflect the actual color? Also, you say it is outside now. Just.. It does not look like an outdoors environment?
It COULD be affected by spider mite.
As long as the foliage is soft/pliable, and not dry/brittle, it has not dried out. And with that, could be alive. Diagnosing over the internet is hard/uncertain.
Water enough, ensuring the roots are not soggy. Give half-sun (Avoid midday untill you are sure it is growing). Wait.

Just some updates, it wasn't dead finally. I did some research and some places talked about root rooting causing yellow tips. So I repotted it and let outside and it started to have new growth. Plus there is a lot of new beautiful roots in the pot.
