What trees for part shade/part sun?

Hi everyone,
I currently live in zone 7a in an area where there is not much extended direct sunlight. The most sunlight I can get is about 4 hours on the patio. I'm thinking of getting a maple since those can live in shade, but would something like a juniper do fine with only that amount of sun? If not, what are some trees that can grow with part sun?

for a juniper that would be pushing it. A yew can do without direct sun. Undergrowth species like carpinus, lonicera should be able to handle it too.

I actually measured the time a bit more, and it's more like around 6 hours of sun that my patio gets. In that case, would a juniper be possible?
