Japanese maple doesn't look like it's should in spring was created by Maples

my Japanese maple bonasi is not like a maple it all funny and I'm not sure why doing right care and it healthy just when it's buds and leafs out the leafs dry up right away and go this funny colour and they are really small give it enough water sunlight and feed everything's okay maybe it's just waiting and seeing what happens its maybe getting damage from wind and frosty nights at 1°c or 0°c possibly it's out over night and I get all the wind though my garden but I'm not sure could someone help me understand my problem please the tree is telling me I'm doing something worng I just need to find out what

The first picture is what is look like one mouth a go when I paid for it at my local shop it's also growing in this netted bag in its pot around the base of the tree i can't repot it or do much to it because of spring I was going to wait unit autumn when I can cut back and work with it and repot it in January before buds start

I've attached pictures I really don't know what's going on with it I paid for it because I no Japense Maple are a lovely bonasi but I'm not happy with what I got I hope I can help the tree

What did your local shop say when you showed them the pictures or the tree and asked for advice?
