Hello and welcome.
Well, it’s a sign that the plant is having problems, as 99% of the carmonas have. Most of them die within weeks/months because our homes are just not suited for them. There is no such thing as an indoor tree really. To keep these tropical plants happy you would need a humidity of 80-90% , much more light and ventilation in your house.

Thanks for your reply.
Should I remove damaged leaves or they can recover from this?
I just acquired it and I keep it indoor in a constant 18-20° C under grow light for 12 hours a day. I was thinking of repotting it but I have been advised against doing so in this forum.
Thanks!

You can remove dead leafs, or they will fall by themselves.
