Can someone help diagnose/ advise with my seedling was created by Smith1990
Posted 3 years 8 months ago #67783I have grown my bonsai from seed and this is only a year old and has gone from being a healthy green to brown from over the winter period.
Is this normal or is there something I’m doing wrong?
I have recently since this brown been putting outside in the sunshine otherwise it’s been kept in the house on a sunny windowsill.

Posted 3 years 8 months ago #67784Well, that is a dead seedling so, yes you did something wrong:
- first you havent grown a bonsai, but a normal tree, which could have become a bonsai in 15-20 years. That of course didnt kill it.
- what did kill it is placing it inside: there is no such thing as an indoor tree, and certainly coniferous species really cant stand being inside.

Posted 3 years 8 months ago #67787These kits are scams really: they are normal tree seeds ( there is no such thing as bonsai seed), mostly of unknown origin, species or age.
名媛直播 are made by applying a multitude of techniques, executed on specific times in a year, depending on a lot of variables and this over years/decades. It's an art that you can study your whole life.

名媛直播 is about development. You can buy bonsai, but it is expensive and dont give you the Joy of creating. Just buy a garden center tree that have potential and start the journey.

And , without a good horticultural knowledge your bought bonsai or garden center tree will die quickly, so start with studying some horticulture first

I tried to get my thoughts on paper a while ago. Maybe it helps?

For the last many years I have gotten tree after tree out of the ground around my house. We were re-landscaping, now I have 6 or 8 azaleas, most 16 years old, one at least 45. One winged elm, and two more I am planning on, and lots more. If I thought pine was anything more than a weed, I could have dozens.
One big advantage is that everything is adjusted to the local climate.
