Hello, I recently received a bonsai from my grandfather's funeral. I've never had one before and am not good with plants, but I'm trying to learn what I can and keep this guy alive! I believe it is a Juniper, and I live in Pennsylvania. I currently have it outside and have been watering it nearly everyday. Some spots look like they have fresh new growth, but it is also starting to get some brown spots. I don't know if this is normal die off or if my tree is sick. If anyone can help, thank you! This first picture is when I first brought it home (3 weeks ago) and the second picture is from today.
