My cat attacked my seedlings. Roots still intact. Will they live?

Also, my little gumtree aren't growing. It's been about a month and bit and they haven't sprouted yet.
Any advice?

1: the seadling might survive depending on the damage and your care.

2: that could be due to bad seeds.
