Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help me to figure out what is the problem with the tree.
The tree has completely stopped growing more than a month ago. It is slowly loosing leaves. The leaves, first close on it self, turn dark and then fall. The process starts with the outer leaves (end of a branch).
Could that be watering issues or a that is a disease?

You do not say where it is kept. If it is inside then that is the problem, there is nothing wrong with the leaves I can see. If leaves are on the tree what happens is that the leaves will all drop in a short time and new buds will appear.

Yes, I keep it indoors. At the moment, I don't have the possibility to keep it outdoors, so I'm hoping that it can survive a year or two before I can take it out.
It does not release new buds, growth has completely stopped. Therefore I stopped pruning and fertilizing since the problems started. I keep it on a humidity tray and trying to maximize the sunlight it gets.
I reattached the image with one of the problematic areas circled in red.

That looks like a new growth. You will be lucky if it survives a year inside.
