Mango tree attempt

Hi,
I would like to ask a couple of questions about a mango tree. About nine months ago I tried to germinate six Indian mango seeds. Of these, one started growing, and is now 20cm tall.
It has always had brown coloration in some of the leaves, as can be seen in the picture. I've read it might be lack of sunlight. Hopefully with the warmer weather I can put it in a more sunny spot. Any advice about this would be welcome!
I wanted to ask, is it possible to turn this plan into a bonsai tree, or at least keep it growing happily in a small pot? What would I need to do?
Thank you!

You can grow mango in a pot. Some people even get mango in pots to produce fruit. But calling it bonsai is a long shot I've had mangos growing in pots, and they grow crazy fast. And, the leaves are huge, so getting a mango tree in a pot looking like a well proportioned tree will be a challenge. Like all trees, mango like to be outdoors, but if you live somewhere with cold winters, frost will kill a mango.
Good luck!

All trees can be turned into bonsai. Mango has large leafs and therefore need to be a quite big bonsai to have the right proportions and look realistic. Your little seadling would take 20 years or more to turn inte a realistic bonsai. And bonsai is horticulture first. Since you havent got the care right yet it is way to early to start to think of it as bonsai material. Just try to get the care right and the health up.

The pot does fit on the pallet.
Mango trees usually get much bigger than Japanese pines, so probably you need a bigger pot. And a crane to move it. If it get's cold in the winter, you need to move it indoors so frost won't kill it. My living room could barely accommodate a 1:10 scale mango tree, but I love the idea of having a 1:1 scale mango bonsai! Xmas trees are so old school.
