Hello Everyone,
I live in London UK and have a giant Sequoia tree I have been looking after for 9 years.
In the last two years the tree has browning leaves and discolouration. It seems to go a coppery colour generally. This spring the lower branches seem a little better but top is very discoloured.
Last season I sprayed against insect and fungal attack and have made sure it is properly watered and fed.
I really need some help with this please.
Any idea?
Thanks.

Hello,
Apologies for sparse information.
The tree is -landed in a large bonsai pot in a south facing garden so gets sun most of the day (when there is sun in London). Last re-pot was approx. 3 years ago. I mostly water it using captured rain water and fertilise using NPK 7-7-7 with micro nutrients.
I have attached photos and I hope they are clear.
Thank you.

Repot 3 years ago, what kind of soil? Cant see it too clearly but it looks like a compact black mass.
Does the water still drain freely/ fast when you water the tree?

Soil based compost with added grit, coir, perlite, horticultural sand.
The soil drains freely.
It is not a black mass. I top-dressed the soil some days ago.

This is an interesting topic. I would like to see more development. Though I am sorry, I can't give my thoughts on this.
