Is my juniper dying?

Hey y'all. I bought this juniper about 2 months ago. It was inside where I bought it so I waited about a month for a day warm enough to move it outside (about 50 degrees f). It did well outside for a few weeks (new buds and a vibrant green) but recently it's started turning brown.
At first I thought I was underwatering or overwatering, but I stayed pretty consistent with what I read online about watering. Now I think that I may have exposed to the sun too quickly after being inside for so long. I think this because the side that was facing south is slightly more brown.
Is it dying and what should I do now? Thanks in advance!

It is suffering, but not dead yet.
This is why people say you should not put junipers indoors.

Is there a drainage hole in that pot? Soil seems wet.

Yes there is one about 1.5 cm wide in the center. And I watered it a little while before the pics. I've been watering on average every 2 days and when the soil is dry.

Ok, well , then the only thing you can do is place it outside in full sun, water only when the soil feels dry ( not on a 2 day schedule), and dont fiddle with it.
