If you cant bare the sight of it, just cut them off.

it's outside already. This photo was taken after repoting.

I'm no expert, but maybe is the side effect of spring. Maybe yor bonsai is getting rid of the old leaves and prepare to renew.

i think we can expect a lot during this season. Check the soil, dont let it get to much moisty. and protect it from cold winds.
