I planted some Japanese Maple seeds however out of the seeds one seed sprouted and is a Japanese maple. The other seed sprouted and is something different from the looks of it.

Can anyone assist and advise what type of tree this is

It looks like a ficus however very strange as they were all Maple seeds

Hey. hmmmmmmmmm.. a japanese Camelia? The leafs look like one.. they give flower this time of the year and small berries during autumn.

Very strange .

I'll keep an eye on it and continue to grow it.

If you have any other suggestions let me know. It has grown a fair amount within one year.
