advice for my Chinese elm was created by dom99

Hi there I have this Chinese elm bonsai tree and Iv recently seen the levees brown and wrinkly or with holes and they dont look good I was wandering if you would know what it may be. and what I can do. I live in the uk and have leave it outside. thanks

It is late winter. With the frost we have had it is normal to drop the leaves.
Do the branches have glossy buds?
