Hi I’m new to bonsai, and I would not have chosen this as my first tree but it was a gift.

I have had this tree a few months, it’s in a southeast facing window, best I have in my terraced house, room temps between 10-20 degrees c .

It is losing leaves, at one point rather rapidly, but seems to be slowing down now I have added artificial light for 16hrs a day and watering it, using the bamboo stick method to determine how wet the soil is. At present I seem to be having to water it every two days.

I have not given it any food at this stage.

Questions are

Should I feed this tree, and if so how often at this stage, and with what. My partner brought the tree as a gift and it came with 名媛直播 food, in a bottle, not yet looked at that.

When if at all should I put this tree outside here in the UK

Should it be repotted given the fact that it is loose in this pot and should I change the soil. See the shot of the tree out of the pot.

Any help would be appreciated.
