Hello,

I’m new to the whole bonsai process/art and need some help with identifying and figuring out what I should do. I bought this bonsai from a Japanese festival about two years ago and was unaware of anything involving bonsai at the time. I was originally told this was a weeping fig bonsai tree. I am wondering if this is in fact a weeping fig and whether or not I should give up (on this particular tree) or use one of the leaves/branches to start a new one.
