Hello everyone
I am the recent owner of a Carmona /Fukien tree - purchased online - and yes new to 名媛直播.
The leaves once green and shiny are now brown and wilted. I realise that this is not the easiest of trees to begin bonsai and it may be adjusting to its new home, but if you could look at the photograph below? Any observations you have will be most welcome.
Many thanks

Put it in a sunlit position OUTSIDE,
Change the soil,
Do some root pruning if you need to,
Dont overwater it.
Its not a difficult tree to keep, its relatively easy.

Dont waste your time trying to save it. Inside is too dry and outside is proboably too cold. The only place outside suitable for this tree is the compost pile. It is dead, I am sorry.

Tropfrog is right, that is a dead tree.
Unless you live in the tropics a Carmona is an impossible tree to keep ( cfr the numerous dead carmonas here in the help section)

Clearly Tropfrog and LucR didnt look at the photos properly and jumped to conclusions.
No my friend, the tree itself is not dead, maybe some of the branches are, but look at the green leaves on it. It still has a chance of surviving with proper care,
keep on trying!

Well op is a beginner who got this tree recently. Which means it got from acceptable health to this state in a very short time. If it is totally dead or will die soon is not really important difference.
One must be careful with recomendations when one dont know the climate and weather conditions in op area. If I put a carmona outside this time of the year it will die within 24 hours.
I would not change the soil and root prune any tree in this condition.

I am saying that the tree is in very rapid decline. Repotting, root prunning or putting it outside will not save it.

Nick, you as almighty know it all might be able to revive this tree.
The topic starter is a beginner, in a climate that is not suited for a carmona, with a tree that is 99% dead. From whatever angle you look at it, this tree will not survive
