Hello 名媛直播 Empire,

I am new to bonsai.

We bought a beautiful Trident Maple 10 days ago (it looks about 20 year old?). Since we brought it home, leaf buds and now leaves are appearing.

I am worried about the leaves. They appear to be "drooping". I attach several images.

I have been attentive to watering, checking the soil every day and watering regularly to keep it moist.

The tree is on a porch and gets sun twice a day (but not all day).

Is the tree OK, or do you think that there is a problem? Or is this just a factor of my novice bonsai knowledge?

Many thanks,

Doug

Jup that is also my experience. I do see a few browned leaf-tips but the tree seems healthy to me.
