Hello. I'm shaye and I'm new to bonsai growing. I am trying to grow my first bonsai, a blue jacaranda. ( Jacaranda Mimosifolia)
A couple of months ago I noticed that the branches looked brown and rough, almost like something was growing on it. I also have trouble with the leaves falling off on occasion. I am hoping someone can shed some light on my situation here. Also is it normal for the tips to curl over like that? Thanks

Hey.
I don't know the conditions you keep this Jacaranda inside or outside, if you're on northern hemisphere, etc... On the picture, it looks like you had aphids or something on that leaf at some point, idk...
But just so you know, Jacaranda shed it's leaves on winter, and only sprout again like mid spring, a bit after flowering, that's why you see them all purple on some pictures...
So I'm not surprise on the old leaves "bad" conditions, actually, doesn't look that bad.
