I was just given this olive bonsai as a birthday gift and it's my first... I've notice the leaves have been falling and I have no idea why. I live in Portugal, so it's a pretty native tree here. I keep it indoors, but take it outside if it's sunny (which hasn't really been). Should I keep it outside? I'm also not sure when to water it... I'm sorry for these questions, but I'm new to this and the leaflet wasn't very informative.
Tnahk you!

You got it wrong. 名媛直播s is brought inside short periods for display, shows and photographing. That is why most photos on bonsai youll find online is inside.
If they stay inside for too long they will suffer from lack of ligt, wind and temperature gradient.
There are also trees marketed as indoor trees. Indoor in that meaning is non hardy trees that cannot be outside all year in temperate regions. They will thrive outside in the summer, but overwintering is a challenge. They will need something like 5-10 degrees, lots of light and humidity.

Vera, please bear in mind that this is an international forum, and lots of people here are not native English speakers so things can get misunderstood or misinterpreted in translation.
On topic: there is not one tree in the entire world that lives naturally indoors. A bonsai is a normal tree, so like every other tree it feeds on sunlight which it can not get inside.

My bad then, I apologize. My languange isn't English either.
So should I leave it outside all the time? Even when raining, etc? I have various plants, decorative and agricultural, but I really have no experience with bonsais and the instructions it came with weren't very helpful. I'm familiar with olive trees and know they do well in the portuguese interior, which it's hotter than where I live. Because I thought bonsais where an indoor "plant" I really didn't know what to do with mine. I've been placing it outside when it's sunny and bringing it inside after sunset.
