Hello. I’ve had this Japanese juniper bonsai for about 2 months. He was fine and was being placed outside during the day. I was watering it once every week- 2 weeks. Recently it’s started looking really sad, yellowing and brown, more so on the side facing the sun. Any way it can be saved?

I cannot see any pictures. But generally when junipers turn colour it is allready too late. They should be outside at all times. Bringing them in to living room conditions at night stress them. They are adopted to lower temperature in night, not higher.

I agree with Tropfrog.
Do trees in nature migrate inside at night? In winter, when it rains....?

Yeah, bringing it in at night was advice was given by the person selling the bonsai. I thought it was odd cause plants don't tend to like changed in their environment like that.
It has been outside only for the last two weeks, and that's when it started turning yellow. I was hoping I might save it by changing it's care or re-potting it or something. But you think it's a lost cause?

rock does not help either and watering should be done as needed not to a schedule

Looks like a lost case to me. But put it outside until spring, who knows it might spring back? Nothing more to lose.
