Juniper vs. Snow

Hi there,
I am trying to resist my first instinct of bringing my tree inside, and channel what others have said in regards to other trees live outside/survive rain wind and snow etc. I am in 6-7 plant zone. And here comes a pretty big winterstorm. We are getting 20 inches of snow today, and another 10 tomorrow. And it will be a week straight of snow, so maybe 3-4 feet of snow in total.
How do I combat the snow. There are juniper trees all over where I live (Northern hemisphere), so I know they can survive this weather. My tree is up on a pedestal, do I need to move it down closer to the ground? Do I still need to water it? I have been watering it about once every two weeks (I think that might be too little but am unsure). The pedestal is under a overhang on our front porch, it gets sun from about 9 am to 2 or 3 pm. But the snow will blow onto our porch, so maybe it will get a couple of inches onto the actual porch.
Looking for any recommendations and answers.

I think the snow is nothing to worry about- that juniper is dead. Junipers do change colour in winter, but this is a dead tree, sorry

Snow is excellent protection for junipers. Just let it cover totally and wait and see how it is doing in spring. If you are lucky one or two branches pop out new growth. But dont have too big expectations it might be dead allready.
