If you could choose between these two pines, which one would you take? and why?
The one with the thinner trunk has great movement and has a clear shape already.
The second one with the rough bark has a lot of potential too.
Curious to see what people choose hehe

Well, you know it's a matter of taste...
Having said that, I would choose the one on the white pot, because it's moyogi movement, that style fits nicely on pines, but the other one is good too, and at this point, being that small, you still could work some movement on it if you want (and if you like them bigger)...
Either one, I would still keep training it... I like big pines.

I like the blue pot, myself. I am a sucker for a thick trunk and for rough bark. The white pot just looks young.
But, it is really a matter of opinion. Mine might not be as important since I think "pine" is just another four letter word.

Isnt that three different pines? It looks like two different pines in blue pot and one in white pot. I would shoose the first pine in blue pot. The one without the unbalaced shunky nebari. But if this is pictures from a website claiming it is the same tree in the pictures I would shoose not to buy, that is also an option.

Bit of a strange comparison. A very young near-seedling pine with a mature, probably cork bark black pine. Pricing would be very different for these too.
I would never buy the one in the white pot. Mass produced s-shaped. And seedlings of this strength without styling can be had any day of the week. The corker is a different story. but probably priced at 200+ euro I would really want to have more than the pictures shown before I make such a purchase.

The one in the blue pot for sure.
Regardless of price, it's a much better bonsai to be.
