Hello Everyone

I have had a Chinese Privet for a number of years and it's due a repot (I've never repotted it and it's pretty root bound). I have gathered advice and done some research and I have decided to go with a round pot and narrowed it down to two potential pots. I was hoping some people here could maybe suggest which would be best for the tree? Both are similar size, should I be going bigger? And both a little more shallow, option 2 even more so.

It's current pot is rectangular, dark blue and 15cm x 10cm.

Option 1: A glazed blue 16cm x 7cm pot

Option 2: A unglazed 15cm x 3.5cm pot

I'm happy with other suggestions but I'm starting to dream of pots!

Hello, that's totally a mather of taste and opinion.
Having said that...

I would put on a bigger rectangular unglazed one, between those two I would choose the second one.
Unglazed (in my opinion) matches more with a tree that don't flower (or don't flower much/exuberantly).

By the way, round pots can usually give you more freedom to choose your tree's front, but it's hard to say anything without actually seeing it...
