Hello,
So apparently my bonsai hasn’t been doing well for the past 2 months. At first I thought it was due to the winter season and it will grow its leaves back, but it hasn’t produced a single leaf for the past 3 weeks or so. Unfortunately, I was away from home for about a month and an acquaintance took care of it for me. I examined the tree very carefully with my last left hope and I managed to see that some of the branches still have some green parts inside. What I did was pruning the dead branches, cut off all of the dead and rotten roots and repotted it in a new, same size pot. Please, take a look at both of the pictures. The first one was taken last March, 11 months ago. I always keeped it indoors.
Is there still some hope? Should I keep watering it?
P.S I think its a Chinese elm.

This is dead. You kept it inside which was a mistake. It should have been out all the time. made it much worse as did re potting. Keep the pot, throw the rest. If you get another they go outside.
