Grand fir bonsai?

Every woody tree are possible to apply bonsai tecnices on. If it is suitable for beginners or will make a show tree in the end is another question.
The big problem with many in the picea genus is that the branches is very hard to impossible to set with wire. Hence shoosing brances with the right direction rather than right placement is the best approach. I dont know if this applies to grand fir.
So the best anwer is proboably yes.....and no, depending on starter material.
